The real star of the show at Highlands Ridge Golf Club is the high quality of the course design, which manages to accommodate both seasoned veterans and rookie golfers. Visitors never tire of our two awesome Avon Park golf courses, complete with exceptional maintenance, par 72 championship tracks with manicured fairways, tift-eagle and champions greens, and five sets of tees, which help players of all ages and skill levels feel both challenged and competitive. This is truly a must-play course.

The North Course

The North Course was designed by world renowned architect Dave Harman who patterned it after Kauri Cliffs in New Zealand, which was recognized as Golf Digest's Best New International Course of 2001.

The Course has captured the hearts of golfers throughout central Florida and the Tift Eagle greens are the fastest in the area! With five tee locations, the Course provides a challenging variety of shot making opportunities for all caliber of players.

South Course

The South Course was designed by Steve Smyers and is a classic blend of a shotmaker's delight with lush tropical surroundings.

In fact, Highlands Ridge was voted the Number One Golf Course in 2012.

With multiple sets of tees, the Course is a favorite among the members and provides many wonderful experiences for tournaments and other players throughout the year.

The Course has captured the hearts of golfers throughout central Florida and the Tift-Dwarf greens are among the finest in the region!

This original championship course,  is an Audubon-style course with spectacular conservation areas, links-style bunkering, creeks, and natural ponds. It has long been an area favorite. Located between golf holes #9 and #10 you’ll find our award-winning Golfside Villas. These are perfect snow-bird homes, with easy-living floor plans and maintenance-free living starting in the low 200’s.
